Ohio is the Buckeye State, Literally. It's our state's nickname. The nut grows here. The candy was invented here. We released our original homage to buckeye candies in 2022. Last month we did a limited re-release to celebrate the book Ohio Buckeye Candy: A Sweet History by Renee Casteel Cook at the Columbus Book Festival. Given how quickly the brownie sold out during the festival, we are not at all surprised that voters chose it for this month's box!
Deez Buckeye Brownie is made with real chocolate (rainforest alliance certified, because of who we are as a company), spiked with Cincinnati Distilling's Peanut Butter Whiskey, and swirled with a delicious combination of melted peanut butter chips and creamy peanut butter. If the chocolate peanut butter combo is your speed, this is probably your new favorite thing.
