And because it's a major election year, we're doing a bit of leaning into the history of Black Women's involvement in the political sphere in the U.S. We're traveling time and space, beginning in mid '60s Alabama, hopping up and over to New York and Barbados, going down the Bayou to Louisiana and then making a tiny landing in D.C.Â
